International Women's Day

International Women's DayThroughout my entire career, I have been privileged to work with many inspiring and gifted women. It’s been a deep source of happiness to see the gains that women have made socially, economically, culturally and politically.

Diverse and empowered teams are effective and productive. Promoting gender diversity, parity and events like International Women’s Day are not only the right things to do, but it also makes good business sense.

On a personal level, women have had a profound impact in my life. I feel blessed that I’m a well-rounded person as a result of the women in my life. I’m very proud of their achievements and they inspire me every day.

But there is much more work to do. For example, domestic abuse remains a major problem, affecting 1 in 3 women globally. So today provides an opportunity to review and talk about what still needs to be done if we are to achieve our true potential. We must continually take action to assess and improve the goals of equality and inclusion.
