Questions Asked:
- Contract period- It indicates it shall commence on 9/1/22. Our concern is that the SSA wouldn’t have the time to change the payee for these individuals in that timeframe as we are seeing applications that are taking 3+ months for the SSA to approve. How would that be handled if the SSA couldn’t meet that timeline?
- Would those rent/ room and board payments be considered received “on time” if it were the 10th or so of the month?
Questions Answered:
- Horizon Behavioral Health will have to wait until the payee is approved by SSA. We will not be able to move forward until that happens regardless of the date.
- Yes, the payment would be considered on time
