Ryan Weaks joined Horizon in 2024 bringing more than 10 years of marketing and communications experience to the role with over 4 years of experience at the director-level.
Before Horizon, Ryan worked at the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance, Framatome, and at Liberty University. He also is the founder of RW Consulting, a firm created to assist nonprofit organization's in branding and design.
Ryan attended Liberty University where he received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in International Business with a minor in Spanish. He went on to complete his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Marketing.
Ryan is proud to be an Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America and has a Certificate of Excellence for Board of Directors Best Practices from the Central Virginia Academy for Nonprofit Excellence.
Ryan has also been recognized as a rising leader. In 2021, he was recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Professional by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. In 2024, Ryan was recognized as a Top 20 Under 40 Professional by Lynchburg Business Magazine.
